I loved this program so much that I still have my little card with the NYSP CREED on it. I am 31yrs old and that is a long time. Yeah I use to hate walking in those lines and when someone would cut up in line they would stop the line while we was in that hot sun.........

Tre'Ciera you were right about those crushes!! I used to love NYSP and then they extended it to go through the fall but on the weekends...We used to get into so much trouble! But my greatest memories came the summer I worked for NYSP, I didn't realize all the trouble we used to get into was going to come back on me!!! Those kids were hell to deal with! But it was still fun. Props to Coach Skinner!

This is great. Oh man!!! This brought a smile to my face when I saw this site. I laughed out sooooooo loud because I remembered the fear I felt when I first began trying to learn to swim in this program. I learned to float, back stroke, and dog paddle. But guess what, I didn't continue using those skills, so I lost them at that time. The fear of drowning overtook me then. I now swim like a fish because of this program. Ethical issues is what caused me to learn to swim. Keep up the good work NYSP!!!

HUM, what can I say about NYSP everything but I will only say a few things. I met my first crush and boyfriend there, I received a softball and tennis trophy, won first runner in the Miss NYSP pageant but most of all I learned how to be a hard working strong independent person, I learned if you really wanted something work hard and never give up and that's what I have been doing. Never give up and never say never and can't those words shouldn't belong in anyone vocabulary. Everyone stay blessed
