Rosalyn, I think it would be a real treat if we could all get together for an event. Maybe even go to where our school was and take a group picture. Still looking for a picture of the old school online. If anyone has one please post it. Represent River Road.

Hi family from River Road Elementary!
Remember Rodderick Ellis, Tanya Ellis, Janice Ellis, Charles Ellis from River Road? They lived in the 400 block of Odom. I think they lived next door to Bob, Rudolph, Demetrius, and Joanna Williams. Also, they attended House of God Saints in Christ Church...Bishop Litman was the pastor...
Well....
Their mother Mrs. Mildred Ellis died last week. They are having her funeral this Wednesday, October 14, 2009 @11 AM @ First Albany Deliverance Cathederal on Slappey and Lippitt Drive. Litman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Let's show this family some real River Road School FAMILY LOVE!

By the way, I will be getting with you soon for a real River Road REUNION!

would really love if someone had a photo of our dear elementary school. I have a memory in my head but it's cloudy. Welcome Jennifer.
Please share your memories with us. And Lorenzo trust me with Mr. Dent and Mr. Jenkins no one ruled River Road but them. LOL.

Where are they now. .? Anybody know the whereabouts of the following.....Tommy Roberts, Tommy Mallard, William Thomas, Mel Williams, Mark Wright, Jennifer Dawson, Linda Hunt, Fredrick Taylor, Vivian Graves..... all classmates that I lost track with after sixth grade.

I dont think anybody ever really ran River Road. Mr. Jenkins and Mr. Dent were the mercenaries who took care of things when it came to disciplne. And Mrs. Robinson ran a tight shift in the middle hall of the school. On the playground. Coach Davis had his whistle and it did the talking when he blew it or when he smacked you with it. But I understand.
