I am asking for some advice on a problem that I am having. My son is 10yrs. old and he is going through the stage where he don't won't to listen at school. I have already recived at least four phone calls from his teacher this school term. He is being very disrespectful to his teachers and classmates. That is not how he is being rasied. What do you do when your child is out of control? If anybody have any advice let me know.

Hello single parents. I am married with 2 kids but I'm not married to their father. So it is my duty to do for my kids. Do you think I am wrong to feel that I should not ask my husband to do anything for my kids like buy clothes or other thing they need? Because they are not his kids?

I am new to the site but would like to put my two cents in. I am a single parent and I must say it is a hard job. But with the help of the good LORD and my mother we are making it. Don't let me forget about a wonderful man that has been place in my life that help me with my boys. It is truly a blessing to have him in my life and in my boys life. To all the single mothers don't give up, on any thing in your life because a bless will come through for you. Remember your childern will remember who was there when thay was sick and who feed them when they was hunger. They will make us proud of them one day in more ways that we will know. God bless each and everyone of who and stay strong.

I am very thankful that someone felt our pain and decided to put up this page. I am the mother of a 17,13,11 yr old. It can get ruff at times.I thank God for strength and peace of mind. Sometimes I have to steal away and go to my hiding spot so that I can talk to God.I know that he hears my cry and he will answer my prayer. Because it gets hard sometimes.I try so hard to stay SAVE and not to Sin with my mouth.I know that there will be a brighter day ahead. GOD BLESS!!!!!
