As a former US ARMY SGT., and tours of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq(2). I know what you guys and ladies are feeling. Just stay focused and keep up the good work! And always remember "No Mission To Difficult - No Sacrifice Too Great" Duty First!!!!

We just missed each other then, cause I just left where Echo company was at. I was right down the road from ya'll, I am in Fox 148th and we are about to leave to go to afghanistan on tomorrow from some crazy ass country! lol My prayers are with you and your whole BN as well as for all of 48th out of the GA.

JOINED THE ARMY IN "90" AND WAS SENT TO KOREA IN "91
" LEFT THERE AND GOT OUT IN "92".GOT BACK IN "96" WITH A NATIONAL GUARD UNIT OUT OF THOMASVILLE,GA (1148TH TRANSPORTATION COMPANY) BUT THEY MOVED TO FT.GORDON IN 2007.THE UNIT WENT TO IRAQ IN APRIL 03-JULY 04.WAS SUPPOSE TO GO WITH THE 1230TH OUT OF BAINBRIDGE,GA IN FEB 07 BUT DUE TO AN INJURY TO MY KNEE SUBSTAINED IN TRAINING I WAS SENT BACK HOME.NOW I'M WITH ECHO COMPANY 148TH BSB /1-121 OUT OF WINDER,GA GOING TO AFGHANISTAN AT THE END OF THE MONTH.PLEASE PRAY FOR THE 48TH BRIGADE TO RETURN BACK HOME SAFELY.TO THE REST OF MY FELLOW MILITARY BROTHERS AND SISTERS MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OF YOU WHERE EVER YOU ARE.KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND CONTINUE TO PRAY THAT GOD KEEPS HIS ARMS WRAPPED AROUND YOU.WHATEVER YOU DO RETURN HOME SAFELY.PEACE AND GOD BLESS.

Hello everyone I've been active duty for the past 8yrs station at Ft Carson Colorado assigned to the World Class Athlete Program also known as WCAP. My prayers are with everyone whos makeing that trip across the water besafe and hurry back home!

Derrick, yall hold it down and take care of each other. Make sure to watch each other backs. Afghanistan isn't like Iraq. It is cold and plenty of mountains. I'll keep you and everyone in my prayers.

What up ya'll? I'm hopin this will be the last time I have to do a deployment, but we are gonna be to the hotspot (Afghanistan)! Its a bunch of us from the area that are goin. All I ask that everyone keep us in your prayers and everyone else that is goin in harm's way! I am tired of goin place to place, thats why I joined the Guard!!!!!! LMAO
