I could not go without sharing the most beautiful Mother's Day experience that I have ever had. I had the wonderful pleasure of spending Mother's Day with my wonderful mother, Ella Linkhorn, my darling mother-n-law, Eloise Jackson Armstrong and my beautiful, soft spoken sister Denay Linkhorn. We did not spend the day at a spa, or at the mall or eating a fancy meal. I in fact took these three wonderfully spirtually filled women to work with me. That's right we spent the day in Jonesboro Georgia, building a Habitat for Humanity home ofr the Women Build program(the department that I serve as the Event Coordinator for) for a very deserving family. We labored for 7 hours in the 90 degree weather along side of approximately 35 other women, including the most wonderful Trisha Yearwood and her perfectly gentlemen Garth Brooks, and thier family. Nothing can explain the feeling that felt when I laid down that night. I did not receive a name brand purse, or a gold or silver watch, I did not get a certificate to pamper myself or a fancy meal. I did not spend the day with my awesomely sexy husband, or my wonderful son. But none of that matter as I went to sleep, but I did remember the scripture in -Acts 20:35 that says I have shown you in every way, by labour like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said "It is more blessed to give than to receive." My advice today is for all of God's people to "Be Ye Doers". May God Bless my mother, mother-n-law,and sisters, and the Partner Family Katinka Matthews.
