- About Me:
- About me? Hmm. Not too hard a question. I was born and raised in Sylvester, Georgia, graduating from Worth County High in 1987. (The football state championship era!), graduated from Morris Brown College in 1991 (technically c** laude, more like "Thank You, Lawd!"), and of course after college, went out in the world to do "My Thang", but that didnt' work out. So I went back to college in Ohio for a semster in the Masters program. THAT didn't work, so, like the Prodigal Son, I came to myself, and enrolled in Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service (my true calling), graduted in 1994, and am now serving as Manager and Embalmer for Shipp's Funeral Homes in Ashburn and Sylvester, on-call embalmer for Meadows Funeral Home of Albany, Ga., and Davis Funeral Home in Ocilla, Ga.
Some of you may remember me from the American Legion, where I worked as a bartender in the late 90's. The bar upstairs. But after saying "I do", I chose to retire, and hang up my bottle opener! LOL. But hey, with the way this economy is going, I may have to neogotiate a new contract and come out of retirement!
But back to about me, I'm a listener first and foremost. And your secrets are safe with me. I try to be nice to everyone, try to be intuitive towards my friends, very supportive and encouraging. I'll work for a smile, kill for a laugh, LOL I try to bring and keep smiles on faces, and will be in your corner when the rest of the world doesn't. I've been called "sweet", "charming", "smooth", "nice", "handsome"(This one is your own opinion, not mine! Lol I say fair), and I just try to be myself. That's all I know how to be.
