About Me:: I've heard so much about this site that I decided to join and see for myself what AF is all about. So a little about me, I was born and raised in Albany. Initially from the southside of town, like many people I was displaced by the flood of '94. I am the single mom of 2 beautiful children, Austin(3) & Achaunti(10). I currently work as a Cert. Surgical Tech. in Labor&Delivery at PPMH and I enjoy what I do. I am also a very honest person because I believe that honesty says alot about your character and who you really are. There is always light in the truth and no matter how it can hurt sometimes, it's still always best. I try hard to treat people like I want to be treated and not take my friends or life for granted. Life is very short and not promised to anyone so when my time here is all said and done, I want to have comfort in knowing that I have earned a place on the throne. I realize that I am nothing nor can I ever be anything without the Lord. I hope by joining this site that I'm able to reconnect with old classmates and friends that I haven't seen in a long time as well as stay in touch with my family and friends that are already members. Should I meet new friends, please be honest and always keep it real. I'm a big girl, I can handle the truth. And besides, LIES make me mentally tired, I have enough homework to do that. Friendships should be a place of refuge where you can turn to, to get away from the stress and drama of everday life, not get more!
