- About Me:
- I'm a very passionate, hardworking husband and a father of 3. I represent Albany so I must love my wife Paula as hard as I can because, that’s 'the Benny way of doing the damn thang’. I try to enjoy life as often as possible. My hobbies are 4wheeling, jet skiing, white water rafting, fishing, hurting, camping, biking, traveling and working in the yard.
I would like to return back to Albany armed with a couple of investors to develop a large piece of property. I have been studying its growth potential for awhile. I have also written a ten year business plan for the business. This concept would place Albany back on the map with its growth spurt. I also see all dead or unused land around it become a residential /commercial zone. I am very excited about ‘THE COMPETITION’ because there’s not one anywhere on earth. The first three years will be an amazing feat, paying off the investors and breaking ground in another targeted area in Florida. In two more years there will be three locations added on the eastern part of the USA! In ten years from the start up there will be a chain of businesses under one cooperate office located no other place but in BEN”UP!
In 1991 Larry Mathis and I formed the ‘Albany Bash’ which was held in Grant Park. The goal was to pool all the folks and resources together and reach out to family and friends that were relocating to Atlanta from Albany. To pay for the Bash Larry and I formed donations letters, which were sent out to every person we knew from Albany that had businesses or profession services, that needed advertisement. We also formed a magazine that housed the entire contributors.
The concept of the Albany Bash was ‘EACH ONE REACH ONE!’
I decided to share this with my PEEPS from Albany because; you are the ones who will carry a passion to move this concept forward. We are the generation to lift Albany back up to its former but new and improved status ‘The Good Life City Rebirth!” We will be implementing this business plan in five years form May 24th 2009. If you dare to see Albany on steroids, don’t be a hater, try being a dedicator, motivator and participator. Those who wish to get started in business with the company will be able to present their business plan to cooperate. After cooperate approve your request and pay your startup cost, they will require you to donate back into the 501.C3 and help mentor others in starting their own businesses.
In closing our first choice for investors would be people from Albany, but to be honest with myself and you; we maybe hard press to find any. So I would have to sell this visionary’s plan to outside investors. Stay tune we will be listing the types of vendors that will be serving the companies and who to contact for assistance on getting you started on your own.
