- Alright, alright...it's been a while now and my life is forever changing.
Hello to ALL of my Albany FAMILY MEMBERS and FRIENDS!!!! I haven't been online much because as many of you know, my oldest daughter (D'Jenne Harris-Smith) is on her way to JF Kennedy High School's Leadership Institute and my new baby has celebrated THE FIRST BIRTHDAY and is now walking. I transition from a mom of a teenager to a mom of a toddler in a split second and most days I feel like I am on a generational rollercoaster. Now I know what my mama, GRACE felt like with 10 children - well, I guess I don't quite know. (Smile)
I am still with the American Chemical Society as a manager in the Office of Strategic Planning and Evaluation. I have been elected for the second time as the Staff Council Program Chair of the Society where I represent efforts toward the evolution of the strategic plan, planning for the Council, and sustainability challenges with members of governance.
I'm hoping to schedule some fun music gigs around the DC waterfront this summer, so if you are in the area reach out!!!! As a former Miss ASU and NBA cheerleader, I'm vainfully working out but I know I will never be the size 1 I used to be. My husband prefers that I maintain the womanly thickness that I now display. It's all A** is you ask me! No one's complaining so why should I, right?
Well, if you have the time please drop me a line or two. It's been difficult to communicate on a regular, but I promise to do my best. Any juicy news????? Prepare me before I head home for the 4th of July.

Senique (McGhee) Miller said… - Hello family watitdo? I was so estastic to c u since it has been since I graduated high school. I finally caught up with Lamont and try to keep n contact on a regular. It's fuhni how we never think about any of these future details of life when we are kids, but when we become older we reminisce about the past. I sure do miss everyone from the old days of living on Carver and in Country Club. Life seems to pass so quickly the older we get, bc it's been 7 years since I retired and that seems ridiculous. It doesn't feel as though I've been in Jax that long.
It was so great to Par-tay with you at DT Live last week boo. It's been a while girlie, but like I told you b4, I c Jerinay (sp) quite a bit. I've talked to some of the others. LIFE takes on a whole new meaning as we get older.
